Marching into Spring

We are so close, yet spring still feels so far away!  To keep our minds off the fact that there is still 3+ feet of snow on the ground, we have been busy attending the many programs offered right here at home...

Afternoon at the spa is a new activity that has been well received by residents, especially during this extreme winter weather! Vibrant Living Assistant Anne Cavalieri shared her expertise and all were pampered with parafin hand wax treatments as well as short massages.  We look forward to continuing this activity!

Judith Kalaora of History at Play, brought us Tinsletown Inventor: Hedy Lamarr.  What a fascinating show! We can't wait to have Judith back again for another enlightening program.

It takes a (New Pond) Village to clear all the snow we've acquired this year!  Pictured above are some of the associates who helped both indoors and out to make sure residents remained safe and warm during this monumental winter...

Sundays are for baking.  Annie is getting a big crowd each Sunday as she creates something new and delicious in the Aldridge kitchen.

On the menu for March 1: Mini cheesecakes!

David Sparr and Cliff Tetle rocked the house at the March Sunday Music Festival on Sunday, March 1st.  The duo played a variety of jazz favorites from the '20's to the '40's with a splash of Mardi Gras hits in between.

Next up: St. Patrick's Day!

Though there's plenty to do right here at home, we have not let the weather stop us from getting out - see the photos below of our most recent outings...

We are looking forward to new and exciting programs and excursions as the weather warms up - see you all in April!
