GARDEN PARTY
The week kicked-off with a party designed to celebrate our brand new raised bed gardens that were just completed this spring. We hired a violinist, the kitchen supplied delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine and all had a wonderful time.

ROLLING REVELERS
Ask any resident or associate here, they will tell you our maintenance team is the best. The department is led by director John Curtin and includes techs Danny, Billy and Mark. "The boys" as they're affectionately known, all put in countless hours of work to ensure that our community is still running smoothly, even after 25 years. During anniversary week we added an additional duty to their job descriptions: Ice CreamTruck Guys! We thought it would be a big hit if we turned the maintenance van into an ice cream truck and had "the boys" deliver ice cream novelties to all associates and residents. Needless to say, the event was a success and lots of laughs ensued.

Judith Kalaora Presents:
I Now Pronounce You, Lucy Stone
Last on our agenda for the week was a dynamic performance from resident favorite, Judith Kalaora. Judith has delighted residents time and again with her fascinating performances and this time was no different. Judith's goal is to tell the stories of women throughout history who made big impacts, yet do not receive much notoriety in today's history books. Lucy Stone's story touches on the gender caste system and encompasses with it the fierce abolitionist movement.
See you next month!
