April and Early May at New Pond Village

I am always amazed at how we anxiously await spring and then suddenly it seems to arrive overnight! Each day brings just a bit more color and we see more and more people spending time outdoors.  It makes me smile knowing that the residents and associates of New Pond Village are so passionate about keeping our grounds picture perfect.

Below are some snapshots captured during April and the very beginning of May.  Residents have found themselves all over the place this spring including Newport, R.I, Symphony Hall, the Museum of World War II and some even sailed aboard the Titanic.  We've also rubbed elbows with everyone from Socrates to Wally the Green Monster.  See below for some pictures of our events and enjoy this beautiful spring in New England!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!  Our latest theme dinner began with a pre-game social hour in the auditorium and featured celebrity guest Wally the Green Monster - the official mascot of The Boston Red Sox.  Following the social hour residents were offered a choice between Bull-Pen BBQ Baby-Back Ribs and Field of Dreams Chicken as they were serenaded by the musical talents of Richard Travers on piano and David Polansky on trumpet.  The evening was a wonderful combination of good food, good music and the celebration of America's favorite past-time - the sport of baseball.
